Personal Computers and Laptops get slower and slower over time!
Why you ask? Well to begin with some PC's, Laptops or Chromebooks when bought new have all the manufacturers software loaded in Start-up, usually a 30 Day Internet Security Software Package and that is before you load any of your own software.
After a few months of using the internet and doing your everyday checking of emails, online shopping and banking, certain areas of your device go slower. Unless you have been out and bought a decent specification and know what CPU Speed, Ram and Hard Disk Space is, then you are on to a winner!
I could bore you with what CPU's (Processors) are good and bad, what size hard drives you need (or SSD - Solid State Hard Drives as they are to day) and how much ram you need to run a specific program and we would literally be here all day and I would have written a book!
An Annual Healthcheck or Service will determine your computers specification and advice will follow - generally a complete wipe of your hard drive and the reinstallation of the latest operating system will suffice, getting you back to when you first got it out of the box. For all old laptops and PC's we now upgrade your internal hard drive with a 4 times faster SSD and where possible upgrade your ram to make everthing much faster, despite the CPU you have installed, this proves to be a lot cheaper than going out and buying a new laptop of PC.
